Role Overview
The Relationship Manager is responsible for driving retention, adoption, and positive client health outcomes across Advyzon’s Core RIA client segment. The primary objective of this role is to ensure that each firm in their portfolio is successful on the Advyzon platform and realizing ongoing value.
This role manages a portfolio of Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) firms, delivering proactive relationship management at scale. This role plays a critical part in maintaining strong client health, increasing platform adoption, and reducing preventable churn.
The ideal candidate is self-driven, highly accountable, and proactive, with strong communication skills and the ability to quarterback client relationships end-to-end. This individual must be comfortable coordinating across multiple internal teams (Support, Consulting, Product, Sales) to ensure client needs are addressed quickly and effectively.
Success in this role requires someone who takes ownership of their book of business, acts with urgency, and consistently takes initiative to drive outcomes for clients. Industry experience in wealth management or fintech is a strong plus, but the most important attribute is a demonstrated ability to learn quickly, take initiative, and execute at a high level.

Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Ownership & Client Health
  • Own and manage a portfolio Core RIA client relationship.
  • Maintain a structured engagement cadence based on firm size, complexity, and health score.
  • Monitor client health indicators including:
    • Product adoption and usage depth
    • Engagement trends
    • Support patterns and recurring friction
    • CSAT/NPS feedback
    • Renewal timing
  • Proactively identify risk signals and execute retention strategies before issues escalate.
  • Serve as the primary relationship-level contact for assigned firms.

Adoption & Value Realization
  • Drive increased adoption of key platform capabilities including:
    • Performance Reporting
    • Trading
    • CRM
    • Client Portal
    • Financial Planning
    • Auria / AIM (as applicable)
  • Conduct scaled business reviews (virtual QBRs or structured check-ins depending on account tier).
  • Lead value-based conversations focused on workflow efficiency, advisor productivity, and firm growth.
  • Share best practices tailored specifically to RIA operating models.

Renewals & Retention
  • Own renewal conversations for assigned Core RIA accounts.
  • Maintain high renewal rates through proactive value reinforcement.
  • Develop structured save plans for at-risk accounts.
  • Identify firms that may qualify for Enterprise segmentation as they scale.

Growth & Expansion
  • Identify and pursue expansion opportunities including:
    • Additional accounts or households
    • Additional advisor teams within a firm
    • Cross-sell of new Advyzon products
  • Partner with Sales for larger expansion motions when appropriate.
  • Drive net revenue retention through disciplined portfolio management.

Scaled Engagement & Operational Discipline
  • Execute a tiered engagement model (e.g., high-touch, mid-touch, tech-touch).
  • Use CRM, reporting dashboards, and automation tools to manage volume efficiently.
  • Conduct group webinars, office hours, or product update sessions for Core RIA clients.
  • Maintain accurate account documentation and renewal forecasting.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner closely with:
    • Support to identify recurring issues impacting retention.
    • Consulting to ensure strong onboarding-to-relationship handoffs.
    • Product to provide structured RIA feedback.
    • Sales to coordinate expansion opportunities.
  • Escalate high-risk or complex accounts to the Director, Client Success as needed.

  • CSAT trends across Core RIA portfolio
  • NPS contribution from Core segment
  • Feature adoption rates
  • Engagement coverage (% of accounts with documented proactive outreach)

Retention & Revenue
  • Gross Renewal Rate

  • Expansion ACV from assigned accounts

Operational Effectiveness
  • Portfolio coverage rate per quarter
  • Renewal forecasting accuracy
