• Establish a positive and trusting relationship with clients to create a safe space for open dialogue.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose mental health disorders and establish treatment needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect each client's unique circumstances and goals.
• Facilitate counseling sessions for individuals, couples, and families, providing guidance and support as they navigate challenges.
• Monitor patient progress through regular follow-up meetings and adjust treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Engage with patients to motivate them in applying therapeutic strategies and coping mechanisms in their daily lives.

Your primary focus will encompass a diverse clientele, including individuals experiencing relationship issues, couples facing communication barriers, and families managing conflicts. As part of a community health clinic, you will address a broad spectrum of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders, ensuring that care is culturally sensitive and aligned with best practices in behavioral health.

• A valid Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) credential.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Knowledge and application of evidence-based practices for treating mental health and co-occurring disorders.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate with team members.

• Experience in addiction counseling to support clients facing substance use challenges.
• Familiarity with teletherapy practices and tools for remote counseling delivery.
• Previous work in a community health setting or with diverse patient populations.
