• Conduct one-on-one and group therapy sessions via a secure telehealth platform, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Perform comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ emotional, behavioral, and social needs, leading to the development of tailored treatment plans.
• Facilitate crisis intervention sessions as needed, offering immediate support to clients in distress.
• Guide clients and their families in accessing community resources, support services, and social programs that enhance their mental health.
• Maintain detailed electronic health records, including progress notes and treatment plans, in accordance with best practices and confidentiality standards.
• Collaborate with educators and other interdisciplinary team members to coordinate holistic care for students.
• Empower clients by teaching effective coping strategies, self-care techniques, and communication skills to manage their mental health independently.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, staying abreast of the latest trends and research in clinical social work and teletherapy.

The primary focus of this position is to support school-aged children and adolescents who are facing a range of psychosocial challenges. These may include anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and other emotional difficulties. By providing virtual therapy, you will be integral in helping these young individuals navigate their challenges while fostering resilience and healthy coping mechanisms. Your contribution directly affects their academic and personal growth, allowing them to thrive in their educational settings.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Illinois or the state in which you are practicing.
• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or a similar advanced degree in mental health.
• A minimum of three years of relevant experience in social work or mental health counseling.
• Proficiency in using telehealth technology and virtual therapy platforms.
• Strong communication skills, allowing for effective remote interaction with clients and their families.
• Commitment to ethical practice and maintaining client confidentiality.
• A demonstrated ability to work autonomously and maintain productivity in a remote work structure.
• Flexibility to accommodate client appointments across different time zones.

• Experience working with children and adolescents in a school or educational setting is highly desirable.
• Background in providing crisis intervention and support for at-risk youth.
• Knowledge of community resources specific to the Springfield, Illinois area that can assist clients.
