Job description

Product Marketing Manager
Company Overview
Rebus is a real-time B2B SaaS labor management and warehouse analytics platform, built to help warehouse leaders manage people, processes, and performance with live data.
Rebus is part of Longbow Advantage, an end-to-end supply chain consulting firm. Together, Rebus and Longbow Advantage give customers both the technology and the strategic expertise to better run their warehouse operations
Founded in 2017 to fill a gap in the market for purpose-built supply chain execution insights, Rebus has grown into a full suite of solutions spanning labor management, warehouse analytics, real-time AI-driven labor decisions, inventory management, and 3PL billing.
Position Overview
Rebus is hiring a Product Marketing Manager to build out a dedicated product marketing function for the platform.
This is a newly created role, and the person in this seat will work closely with the VP of Marketing and the Head of Product Management to tell the Rebus product and platform story, shape pricing, packaging, and positioning, and build stronger customer relationships through marketing initiatives that support every stage of the customer journey.
  • This is a high-visibility, build-it-yourself role.
  • You'll partner directly with Product on release timing and messaging, own the product narrative and competitive positioning, lead customer lifecycle and advocacy programs, and be the dedicated marketing point of contact for Product, Customer Success, and Account Management.
  • This role is fully remote in the United States or Canada.

Key Responsibilities
PRODUCT NARRATIVE, MESSAGING & POSITIONING
  • Own the Rebus product narrative, messaging, positioning, and competitive differentiation, and keep it current as the platform evolves.
  • Partner with Product Management on release planning to ensure marketing readiness ahead of every launch.
  • Develop release messaging, positioning, and go-to-market plans for new features and modules.
  • Build release assets: email announcements, in-app messaging, blog/landing page content, and release notes.
  • Maintain a release marketing calendar and track work in Monday.com.

COMPETITIVE ANALYSIS
  • Own and maintain competitive battle cards and a competitive matrix covering key alternatives (e.g., incumbent LMS/WMS providers).
  • Monitor competitor positioning, pricing, and product moves; brief Sales and leadership on relevant shifts.
  • Support objection-handling content for the field (e.g., "I already have an LMS").

CUSTOMER & MARKET RESEARCH
  • Run ongoing customer and market research to validate messaging, pricing, and positioning decisions.
  • Synthesize win/loss data, customer interviews, and survey feedback into actionable insights for Product and Sales.
  • Stand up a product analytics system or tool (e.g., Pendo or UserPilot) to capture usage data and customer feedback at scale.

CUSTOMER LIFECYCLE, ONBOARDING & ADVOCACY
  • Own customer lifecycle marketing: onboarding comms, upsell and cross-sell campaigns, and ongoing customer engagement.
  • Serve as the dedicated marketing point of contact for Customer Success and Account Management on customer-facing initiatives.
  • Own the Customer Product Spotlight program end-to-end: scheduling, customer recruitment, content, and promotion.
  • Build and grow a customer advocacy pipeline (case studies, references, testimonials) in partnership with Customer Success.
  • Support customer-facing communications tied to product changes, including newsletter and release-note content.

SALES ENABLEMENT
  • Create and maintain sales tools: one-pagers, talk tracks, competitive matrices, and objection-handling guides.
  • Train Sales and Customer Success on new releases, positioning, and competitive talking points.

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION
  • Serve as the connective tissue between Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing on all product-related communication.
  • Represent product marketing in product planning and roadmap discussions.

Skills & Experience
  • 4-7 years of experience in product marketing, ideally at a B2B SaaS company; supply chain, logistics, or warehouse software experience is a strong plus.
  • Demonstrated experience leading product launches from messaging through go-to-market execution.
  • Experience with product analytics or in-app guidance platforms (Pendo, UserPilot, Amplitude, or similar), or strong interest in standing one up.
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to translate technical product capabilities into clear, customer-facing value.
  • Experience building competitive intelligence programs and sales enablement materials.
  • Comfortable owning customer lifecycle and onboarding communications, with an eye for what drives upsell and retention.
  • Comfortable managing multiple workstreams independently and tracking work in project management tools (monday.com experience a plus).
  • Confident communicator who can work directly with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and customers.
  • Familiarity with marketing tools we use like HubSpot, Wordpress, Canva or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Comfort using AI tools (we use Claude) to work more efficiently is a plus.

Why Join Rebus?

  • Work/life balance
  • Competitive Salary
  • 4-weeks of paid vacation
  • 6 paid sick days, 2 paid personal days per year
  • Excellent health and dental benefits, eligible as of your first day!
