Job description

TEMP SR. BUYER/BUYER......REMOTE OPPORTUNITY
Responsibilities: The Buyer/Sr. Buyer is responsible for activities that span the entire procurement cycle, to lead full life cycle ("cradle-to-grave") purchasing activities including but not limited to: preparation of solicitation packages to vendors for Prime Proposal and existing Program related activities. Evaluation of vendor proposals, completion of price analysis, issue resolution, negotiation and finalization of PO documents and modifications including reviewing all FAR/DFARS/Agency/contract provisions, statements of work, terms and conditions, coordinating/reviewing required vendor forms and certifications, and completion of the entire procurement file. Also ensures compliance with contract specifications and deliverables during the life of the contract and CPSR Requirements.
Must be able to work independently, establish priorities, meet deadlines with minimal supervision, be organized, detail oriented and able to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Working knowledge of different subcontract types including FFP, T&M, Cost Plus and hybrids highly desired.
Experience working in a CPSR environment is required.
Experience working with CostPoint is required.
This position is temporarily remote.
