• Conduct engaging individual, family, and group therapy sessions to provide comprehensive mental health support tailored to each client’s unique needs.
• Collaborate closely with the Clinical Director to design and implement dynamic therapeutic activities that keep clients motivated and invested in their mental health journey.
• Participate in ongoing credentialing processes to ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and maintain the highest standards of professional practice.
• Engage in interdisciplinary meetings, providing relevant input about client progress and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to optimize treatment plans.
• Create and regularly update personalized treatment plans, actively monitoring patient progress and adapting methods as needed to ensure the most effective outcomes.
• Document therapy sessions and client outcomes thoroughly, maintaining accurate records that comply with legal and ethical standards while reflecting best practices in therapeutic care.
• Support the clinical team with additional duties as required, contributing positively to team dynamics and overall clinic operations.

You will primarily work with children and families facing a range of developmental challenges, helping them navigate emotional and behavioral hurdles. Your expertise will be crucial in developing tailored strategies for clients who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, or other mental health issues. Your therapeutic interventions will significantly impact their quality of life and overall emotional well-being.

• A Master’s degree in Professional Counseling or a closely related field is required.
• Current LPCC license from the State of California, in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working directly with children and families, ideally those with developmental challenges.
• Proficiency in empirically supported interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and trauma-informed care.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative and open-minded approach to client care.

• Experience in telehealth settings and familiarity with online therapy platforms.
• Knowledge of local community resources to facilitate referrals and holistic patient care.
• A background in crisis intervention and risk assessment techniques.
