The Brand Manager, Home Cleaning Equity & Strategy will focus on the Pledge brand, internationally, working with a cross functional team to shape the brand foundation, prioritized problems to solve & portfolio strategy. The brand manager will identify opportunities through a deep consumer, competitive & commercial understanding & will prioritize solution development in partnership with a broader team. This brand will go through a fundamental shift in the prioritized consumer: Legacy users to new cleaning consumers, along with the rebranding / strategy development & brand platform creation. The brand manager will lead cross functional teams to refine strategy, prioritize areas of focus & drive impact in key markets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accountable for International Home Cleaning brand, strategy and comms development for the following brands: Pledge, Blem, Pronto.
  • Translating unmet consumer needs into winning opportunities and strategies
  • Lead multi year strategy development to address consumer needs and enhance our brand equity by immersing in problems to solve and the brand foundation
  • Partner with markets/clusters in the IGP planning against local problems to solve by building and aligning global solutions with local markets and senior regional leadership
  • Understand consumer and shopper insights that drive segment priorities. Analyze, distill and make conclusions/recommendations to support business initiatives and priorities.
  • Advance SCJ’s sustainability initiatives through embedding purpose into our brands DNA

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

  • Bachelor's degree and minimum 5+ years of relevant experience, or minimum 3+ years of experience and advanced degree preferred
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS

  • Ability to execute highly complex or specialized projects; adapts precedent and makes significant departures from traditional approaches to develop solutions
  • Experience with, and passion for, brand development and communication. Distilling consumer insights into meaningful & differentiated strategies to win
  • Proven project leadership capability with excellent ability to work with cross-functional teams is a critical success driver
  • Ability to remove barriers by focusing on priorities, making timely decisions, and maximizing empowerment
  • High sense of urgency to deliver winning results individually and through others
  • Approach situations and processes with curiosity and open‐mindedness while applying new learnings
  • Global experience/exposure is ideal, but not required
  • Prior FMCG/CPG experience preferred

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Position is Full-Time, usually regular business hours, Monday-Friday
  • Must be flexible for calls/meetings across global time zones
  • Office work environment: Remote work available once a week for eligible employees
  • This role is eligible for domestic relocation
