Countryside Psychiatry, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team on a full-time basis.   • Deliver therapy in various formats such as individual, couple, family, and group settings, utilizing evidence-based approaches like CBT and DBT to facilitate healing and coping strategies.
  • Provide crisis intervention services when required, ensuring immediate support is given to patients in acute distress, and coordinate with other healthcare professionals for seamless patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and current clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans, in compliance with organizational policies and legal standards.
  • Offer psychoeducation to patients and their families, empowering them with knowledge to manage their mental health challenges effectively.
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care planning, addressing the holistic needs of patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work is required for this position.
  • An active New York state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, as well as cooperatively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the capacity to build rapport with diverse patient populations.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience in hospice or palliative care settings is highly desirable.
