As a Machinery Diagnostics Field Engineer, you will be providingcustomerscomplete service solutions to address their critical rotating machinery assets, protection, and monitoring system. This will include evaluating machinery condition based on rotor dynamic analysis.

As a Machinery Diagnostics Field Engineer, you willbe responsible for:

  • Diagnosing machinery problems based upon vibration data, operational data, and customer communications.

  • Travel to customer sites to providesupporting service.

  • Completingtimelyreports thatidentifyfindingsand providerecommendationsto the customer.

  • Building relationships with customers to provide a high-level of service delivery, becoming their trusted advisor for their rotating equipment health.

  • Calculating and overseeingplacement ofbalance weights.

  • Applying Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards and procedures.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Haveabachelor's degreein engineering(Mechanical Engineering a plus)

  • Haveminimum2yearsof industry experience.

  • Be available for extensive travel(up to 70%)and significantover-time(paid).

  • Possess a valid driver's license and passport (or able to obtain a passport).

  • Be eligible to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Credential).

  • Be eligible to travel overseas and/or work on offshore platforms on occasion.

  • Knowledge of or experience with AT LEAST one or more of the following: mechanical vibration, rotating machineryvibrationand/or diagnostics, rotodynamic analysis,PdMdata acquisition/evaluation, machinerybalancingand alignment.

  • Knowledge of Bently Nevada products andCordantTMservices.

  • Basic familiarity with computer network systems.

The annual pay scale for this position is between $79,490.00 - $170,670.00.

Candidates for this role (office-based/ hybrid/ remote) must be located in or near the locations displayed above. The pay range/scale displayed above represents Baker Hughes' good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum for this position at the time of this posting and applies to the possible locations for this position. Baker Hughes will issue a non-bias competitive offer; the salary range posted for this position reflects the projected hiring range for new hires, full-time salaries in some U.S. locations, not including equity or benefits. Where an applicant will ultimately fall within the pay range/scale depends on a variety of factors, including, for example, geographic work location, skillset, qualifications, internal pay alignment, level of experience, and demonstrated performance over time. You will be eligible to participate in the Baker Hughes Short-term incentive plan applicable for the above position. The actual payout for your short-term incentive award will be based on company and individual performance and is contingent upon Baker Hughes achieving pre-determined financial results.
