About the Job
We're seeking a highly experienced Analytics Engineer to serve as a senior technical leader within our Analytics function.
You'll design and develop enterprise solutions across SQL, Power BI, SSRS, data modeling, and reporting while helping establish scalable standards and reusable technical patterns. You'll lead complex initiatives from business need through implementation, serve as a technical escalation point, and provide mentorship and guidance to other Analytics professionals without direct supervisory responsibility.
What You'll Do
  • Design, develop, and optimize scalable enterprise analytics and reporting solutions across SQL, Power BI, SSRS, and related technologies
  • Lead complex Analytics initiatives from requirements and technical design through implementation and production support
  • Build and optimize semantic models, analytical datasets, reporting solutions, and reusable technical components
  • Translate complex or ambiguous business needs into scalable, maintainable technical solutions
  • Establish and promote Analytics development standards, reusable patterns, documentation practices, and technical governance
  • Improve the performance, reliability, and maintainability of business-critical reporting and analytics solutions
  • Modernize legacy reporting, reduce duplicate logic, and identify opportunities to address technical debt
  • Partner with Data Engineering, Data Management, Software Engineering, and business leadership to solve complex data and reporting challenges
  • Serve as a technical escalation point and provide mentorship, design guidance, and knowledge transfer across the Analytics team

What You'll Bring
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in Analytics Engineering, Business Intelligence, Reporting Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related technical discipline
  • Advanced experience with SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and Power BI, including semantic modeling, DAX, Power Query, dataset design, security, and reporting
  • Strong experience developing and supporting SSRS solutions
  • Demonstrated success independently leading complex Analytics initiatives from requirements through production
  • Experience translating business needs into scalable technical solutions
  • Experience establishing or contributing to Analytics standards, reusable technical patterns, or governance
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills across data, reporting, performance, and production environments
  • Experience providing technical mentorship or leadership to Analytics or BI professionals
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; equivalent education and relevant professional experience may be considered
  • Healthcare, clinical, claims, eligibility, financial, population health, or other regulated-industry data experience preferred

The CareATC Core4
Committed • Optimistic • Reliable • Empathetic
Ready to Make a Meaningful Impact?
If you're ready to solve complex data challenges, shape how enterprise Analytics is built, and create scalable solutions that support better decisions across CareATC, we encourage you to apply.
