Job Summary
A leading commercial General Contractor is hiring Preconstruction Managers / Estimators for full-time, direct hire opportunities in Orlando, FL and Doral, FL. These hands-on roles support large-scale commercial construction projects from early conceptual budgeting through final construction documents, bid coordination, and owner presentations.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced commercial construction estimator who wants to join a stable, team-oriented environment with strong leadership, active project pipelines, and the ability to contribute directly to high-profile work across industrial, tilt-wall, assisted living, and mid-rise multifamily construction. The team values collaboration, accountability, strong subcontractor partnerships, and career growth, with opportunities available for both experienced estimators and senior preconstruction leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead estimates from conceptual design through schematic, design development, and construction document phases.
- Prepare detailed pricing across all commercial construction trades and divisions.
- Manage bid processes, subcontractor coverage, proposal reviews, RFIs, and scope coordination.
- Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, design teams, and internal project teams during preconstruction.
- Provide value engineering, cost-saving recommendations, logistics input, and pricing strategy.
- Manage multiple pursuits simultaneously while developing and maintaining strong subcontractor relationships.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $100,000 to $140,000 per year, depending on experience.
