Position Overview

Private Counseling, LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a remote capacity. Work Environment

This role is fully remote, providing flexibility and work-life balance while still enabling our LCSW to make a significant impact on the lives of students across Gilbert, Arizona. As part of a virtual team, you will collaborate closely with educators, families, and other health providers to ensure a holistic approach to mental health care.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between students, families, and outpatient providers to facilitate comprehensive care and support.
• Engage with insurance companies for pre-certification processes and manage utilization reviews effectively to ensure coverage for necessary services.
• Participate in discharge and aftercare planning, contributing to the development of personalized care plans that support positive outcomes.
• Provide therapeutic meal support and model healthy relationships with food, reinforcing positive self-image and nutrition awareness among students.
• Deliver safe, empathetic, and affirming care tailored to each client’s unique context, employing trauma-informed care principles that honor their intersecting identities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on students requiring mental health support within school settings. This includes children from diverse backgrounds, with varying psychological needs. You will work closely with families to understand their concerns, facilitating effective communication and fostering a safe space for the children's growth and development.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LCSW license in the state of Arizona.
• A thorough understanding of clinical and diagnostic skills specific to the education and mental health sectors.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with strong interpersonal skills that enable effective collaboration with parents, teachers, and other professionals.
• Capacity for independent work, as well as a collaborative spirit that thrives in a team-oriented remote environment.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working with students or older adults in a mental health capacity is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of educational systems and community resources in Gilbert, Arizona.
• Experience with crisis intervention and emergency response protocols within a school context.

Compensation and Benefits

Your efforts and expertise will be rewarded with an annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $105,000, reflective of your experience and contributions.
