• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to accurately identify students' mental health needs, developing tailored treatment plans that promote their emotional and psychological well-being.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic interventions, including individual therapy, group sessions, and family counseling, to address a spectrum of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma.
• Collaborate closely with school staff, including teachers and counselors, to coordinate care and support for students, ensuring that interventions align with educational goals and enhance learning outcomes.
• Provide crisis intervention services for students experiencing acute distress, employing immediate strategies to stabilize and guide them toward appropriate help and resources.
• Participate in community outreach and mental health education initiatives within schools to raise awareness and equip families with knowledge to support their children's emotional health.

Your primary clients will be school-aged children and adolescents who present a variety of mental health concerns. Working with diverse populations, you will address the unique challenges faced by students from different cultural backgrounds, socioeconomic statuses, and learning needs, enhancing not only their mental health but also their academic success and social skills.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Master’s degree or Doctorate in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal abilities with an emphasis on building rapport and trust with students and families from diverse backgrounds.
• Demonstrated cultural competence, enabling effective practice in a variety of settings and with various populations.
• Proficient organizational skills for maintaining complete case documentation while managing a diverse caseload efficiently.

• Experience working within school settings or with children and adolescents preferred.
• Knowledge of educational systems and practices relevant to mental health interventions.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and technological tools that facilitate remote therapy sessions.
