Power Distribution Operator
Join a leading organization as a Power Distribution Operator and play a critical role in maintaining the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems in the energy industry. This position offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work on-site with a dedicated team, following a 7/7 rotation schedule, then transitioning to 14/14. If you are detail-oriented, safety-focused, and possess strong technical skills, this is your chance to contribute to essential energy infrastructure projects.
What You'll Do:
As a Power Distribution Operator, you'll oversee and coordinate electrical distribution activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, safety standards, and company procedures. You'll support troubleshooting, system monitoring, and maintenance planning to ensure power systems operate reliably and safely. Your expertise will facilitate collaboration across teams, review technical specifications, and support operational excellence aligned with safety and quality standards.
Required Skills:
  • Solid understanding of electrical distribution systems and control infrastructure
  • Familiarity with regulations relevant to power and energy operations
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Proficiency in work permit systems and safety protocols
  • Attention to detail and quality assurance in maintenance planning and execution
  • Ability to work safely and independently in a high-pressure environment

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with energy industry-specific software and tools
  • Background in oil and gas facility operations or similar fields
  • Knowledge of Control and Instrumentation systems
  • Experience with Management of Change (MOC) processes

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or technical certification; additional technical training is a plus
  • Prior experience in electrical distribution or power systems, preferably in an industrial site

Other Requirements:
  • Availability to work on a 7/7 rotation schedule, followed by a 14/14 rotation
