JBT Marel will align you to the Poultry North America Division. You will report directly to the DSI Application Manager.
The average day in the life of a DSI Applications Engineer:
  • You will work directly with customers on site at their food production facility
  • Gather and prioritize customer requirements while on site, assess customer production lines, and provide feedback for process improvement
  • Locate necessary information and resources, explore options, identify a solution, and manipulate the portioning system software to meet the customer's needs
  • Measure data, analyze trends, and communicate results.The applications engineer coordinates customer visits based on department priorities and strategic programs.

DSI Portioning Background:
For over 30 years, the DSI brand has been synonymous with leadership and innovation in waterjet portioning of boneless proteins.
DSI systems are continually refined to provide food processors with ever-improving automated solutions for portioning, trimming, and sorting.
Requirements for the role
  • BS degree in Engineering, Food Science, Poultry Science, or Meat Science.
  • 1+ years of experience with technical concepts involving computers, software, and robotics principles.
  • The ability to creatively translate customer requirements into practical applications.
  • You must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.
  • The estimated annual salary range for this role is $75,000-$90,000 - annually. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Starting salary will vary by location, qualifications, and prior experience.
