Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and collaboratively develop treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of clients, incorporating pre-crisis and crisis interventions.
  • Deliver timely and accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring transparency and continuity of care.
  • Engage with evidence-based screening tools and therapeutic methodologies as defined by the clinical team, adapting approaches to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design and implement positive behavior support plans, addressing behavioral challenges in a constructive manner.
  • Actively participate in licensing and accreditation processes, contributing to the organization's compliance and quality improvement efforts.
  • Serve as a liaison for clients to necessary service systems, state agencies, and community partners, ensuring accessibility and coordination of care.
  • Establish strong communication channels with stakeholders to uphold contract standards and support the organization’s mission in the community.
  • Network with local, state, federal, and private agencies to enhance program visibility and identify potential partnerships and funding opportunities.
  • Pursue continuing education and professional development opportunities by attending workshops, conferences, and relevant statewide meetings to remain at the forefront of behavioral health best practices.
  • Embody and promote the agency's mission, values, and philosophy within all professional interactions and duties.
  • Perform additional related tasks as assigned by the Clinic Director, aligning with both organizational needs and personal professional goals.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population includes a diverse range of individuals seeking support for emotional distress, behavioral challenges, and substance use recovery. As an LMHC at Blue Ridge Behavioral Health, you will work closely with clients from various backgrounds, each with their unique struggles and aspirations, enabling you to enact meaningful change in their lives while fostering resilience and personal growth.

Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree in a behavioral health field is mandatory, providing the foundational knowledge necessary for effective practice.
  • Possession of a valid Independent LMHC license issued by the relevant state authority.
  • Proficiency in maintaining detailed clinical records and preparing related reports, showcasing your organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team setting, facilitating the integration of care across services.
  • Strong communication skills to express ideas and clinical recommendations clearly and effectively.
  • Capacity to exercise sound judgment and make independent decisions informed by professional expertise.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with diverse populations and familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
  • Background in telehealth or remote counseling services is highly desirable.
  • History of interaction with community resources and agencies to support client needs.
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 86,000 to 103,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, Blue Ridge Behavioral Health provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes productivity bonuses, continued professional development opportunities, flexible scheduling, generous paid time off, health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as dependent care accounts.
