Job description

DLC is looking for Senior Accounting Managers to join our team in Chicago. Our full-time consultants partner with clients on a wide range of complex, high-impact initiatives, including accounting and finance operations, financial reporting, FP&A, financial systems implementations, process optimization, post-merger integration, and project management across diverse industries.

DLC is one of Addison Group’s five full-time, salaried Accounting and Finance practice models, supporting a diverse Fortune 500 client base across key markets, including Southern California (Los Angeles and Orange County), San Francisco, Chicago, and Philadelphia.

Our model is built on hiring highly accomplished professionals, including those with Big 4 CPA experience and/or top-tier MBA credentials. DLC consultants are seasoned, high-caliber experts equipped to support the complex and evolving needs of our clients.

Areas you will have an opportunity to provide support in:

  • Lead and manage all month-end close activities

  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial statement reporting, consolidations and trend analysis.

  • Compile and present quarterly financial presentations for Executive teams in monthly meetings.

  • Assist in post-merger integration – systems and processes

  • Redesign Reporting packages

  • Cash management and cash flow forecasting.

  • Manage annual planning and forecasting across business units, providing guidance to department leads.

  • Assist with Quarterly and Annual Reports on Form 10-Q/K and manage the internal and external review for these documents as well as earnings press releases.

  • Conduct technical accounting research and write white papers on complex transactions

  • SEC Reporting, support company’s external reporting filings by preparing footnotes and MD&A

  • Support ERP Implementation and upgrades

  • Provide insight and implement areas for process improvement & efficiencies.

  • Develop, implement and maintain comprehensive accounting policy documents to improve clarity and consistency

  • Perform ad-hoc analysis to assist in critical business decision support as requested.

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

  • MBA and/or CPA or in progress required

  • Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience with some experience in large public company

  • Confidence in professional aptitude and ability to convey your skills and knowledge to clients

  • Strong willingness to be adaptable and flexible in changing environments

  • High energy with commitment to exceed customer expectations

  • Demonstrated career progression

  • Advanced excel (pivots, v-lookups) and ability to manipulate large data sets

  • Possess exceptional analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build relationships with all levels

Compensation for this position ranges from $110,000 - $160,000 and will vary depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. The compensation may also include incentive compensation in the form of discretionary bonuses.
