JOB SUMMARY

Location: This position is open to US, Canada, and UK -based candidates and will observe a remote work set-up.

The Senior Product Owner leads the product backlog and delivery process for a major product or platform area. They balance technical understanding with business acumen to ensure every sprint delivers meaningful customer and business value. This role also coaches other POs and contributes to continuous improvement of agile practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Own backlog prioritization and clarity for a complex or multi-squad product area.

Ensure sprint goals align with strategic objectives and deliver measurable outcomes.

Partner with engineering, QA, and design to drive delivery excellence and predictability.

Coach junior Product Owners and contribute to improving agile maturity at Avid.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or related role in agile organizations.

Proven success leading complex delivery initiatives with cross-functional teams.

Deep understanding of agile frameworks, metrics, and continuous improvement methods.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Bachelor's degree required; advanced or technical degree preferred.

  • Achieves consistent, high-quality delivery of prioritized backlog items.
  • Improves sprint velocity and product delivery predictability by leveraging delivery metrics.
  • Drives measurable customer or business outcomes from releases.
  • Contributes to team capability building and agile leadership.
  • Influences and coaches other Product Owners across the organization on standards and best practices of Request Management.


Salary Ranges:

For US-based candidates: MIN 117,582 to MAX 176,374 USD/Annual

For Canada-based candidates: MIN 98,222 to MAX 147,334 CAD/Annual

The salary range shown reflects the company's good faith full target range for this position at the time of posting. Compensation decisions are based on factors including geographic location, experience, skills, education, and business needs. While the full range is posted for transparency, offers are typically made within the lower to middle portion of the range.
