Position Overview

Cardinal Behavioral Health Center is actively looking for a dedicated, Licensed Mental Health Counselor who will work within our remote Community Health Clinic, offering high-quality mental health services to our diverse clientele. This is a full-time position based in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where you will leverage a collaborative and evidence-based approach to help clients overcome various psychological challenges. Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to determine the mental health status of clients.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans based on individual needs, symptoms, and evidence-based methodologies.
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe environment for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings.
  • Implement effective crisis intervention strategies and maintain a calm demeanor in challenging situations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

  • A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in the mental health field.
