Job Title: Traffic Coordinator

Industry: Media Advertising / Political Advertising Operations

Location (City, State): Bethesda, MD

Assignment Type: Contract through November 2026

Pay: $18.40 - $20.00 / hour (depending on experience)

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
  • Hybrid schedule: In-office Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday; remote Wednesday and Friday
  • Overtime may be required during peak business periods

Job Description:

Addison Group is hiring Traffic Coordinators on behalf of our client to support advertising operations during a high-volume election cycle. This position plays a critical role in coordinating advertising schedules, managing campaign data, and ensuring media placements are executed accurately and on time.

The ideal candidate thrives in a deadline-driven environment, enjoys working with data and technology, and can effectively balance multiple priorities. Successful team members are highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable collaborating with both internal teams and external business partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter, update, and manage advertising schedules and campaign revisions with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Coordinate campaign execution activities and ensure deadlines are consistently met.
  • Review and process advertising orders, rates, and confirmations.
  • Communicate with external media partners and vendors to support campaign delivery and fulfillment.
  • Monitor campaign performance and assist with maintaining tracking reports and documentation.
  • Support budget reconciliation, reporting activities, and administrative functions related to advertising operations.
  • Collaborate closely with team members to resolve issues, improve workflows, and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Learn and utilize proprietary software platforms and evolving internal systems.
  • Provide responsive and professional support to clients and business partners.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced professional environment preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to learn new software and technology platforms quickly.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly when working with numerical data.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and shifting priorities under tight deadlines.

Additional Details:

  • Start Date: July 13, 2026
  • Candidates must be available to attend a structured training program beginning on the start date.
  • No planned time off will be approved during the first two weeks of training.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. Position is not eligible for sponsorship.
  • Pay begins at $18.40/hour. After 400 hours worked, compensation increases to $20.00/hour, effective the following payroll period.
  • This assignment is expected to continue through November 2026 based on business needs related to the election cycle.
  • Interviews will be conducted in person with hiring managers.
