Job description

Position Overview

Thrive Wellbeing Therapy Centre is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in Miami, Florida. This full-time position offers the unique opportunity to work remotely while providing critical support to individuals in a detox setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to improving lives through effective counseling practices, while collaborating with a team focused on delivering exceptional mental health care.

About the Organization

At Thrive Wellbeing Therapy Centre, we believe in cultivating healthier communities by delivering quality healthcare services that are ethical, safe, and centered around patient needs. We serve medically underserved regions and prioritize inclusivity, ensuring that care is accessible regardless of an individualโ€™s ability to pay. Our mission is to set a standard for health centers nationwide, effectively combining local action with a global perspective, and working every day to embody our community's values.

Work Environment

This role is designed for a remote work setting, allowing you to interact with clients primarily through telehealth services. You will not only engage with clients from the comfort of your home but also have opportunities to connect with them during community outreach efforts. As part of a passionate and diverse team, you will work in collaboration with other healthcare professionals, ensuring an integrated approach to patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct clinical services, including individual and group therapy for clients experiencing major mental health disorders and severe emotional distress.
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that consider the unique circumstances and needs of each client, particularly those within the detox environment.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evidence-based screenings to identify client needs and create actionable care strategies.
  • Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care, sharing insights and updates on client progress.
  • Assist in crisis interventions and support clients during challenging moments using de-escalation techniques and compassionate communication.
  • Monitor patient progress and facilitate referrals to additional support services as needed, ensuring a seamless continuum of care.
  • Maintain detailed documentation including treatment notes and progress reports in compliance with ethical guidelines and organizational standards.
  • Serve on internal committees focused on quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient satisfaction.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The clientele served at Thrive Wellbeing Therapy Centre mainly comprises individuals seeking detoxification and recovery from substance use disorders. Many clients face complex mental health issues exacerbated by their substance use, making it crucial for LCSWs to employ a trauma-informed approach. By working with such a diverse patient population, including those from varied cultural and socio-economic backgrounds, your role will directly contribute to their recovery journeys, promoting lasting change.

Qualifications
  • Required: A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Must possess valid licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Required: At least 2 years of relevant experience working in mental health, particularly within substance use treatment or a similar setting.
  • Strong understanding of mental health and substance use disorders, and skills in evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience working in a detox center or a behavioral health facility is highly desirable. Familiarity with integrated care models and an ability to engage with interdisciplinary teams will be advantageous. Proficiency in both English and Spanish is a plus, given Miami's diverse community.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 85,000 annually. Employees enjoy a full array of benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance; PTO; and opportunities for professional development. We also support work-life balance through flexible scheduling and remote work opportunities, allowing for a more adaptable lifestyle.

Career Growth Opportunities

At Thrive Wellbeing Therapy Centre, we are committed to the professional growth of our employees. As part of our team, you will have access to continuous education programs, workshops, and training sessions aimed at enhancing your clinical skills and knowledge. Your contributions will not only be recognized but will also have the potential to lead to career advancement within the organization.

Why Join Our Team

Joining Thrive Wellbeing Therapy Centre means becoming a part of an organization that prioritizes social impact above all. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker here, you will have the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve, while working alongside a dedicated team that shares your passion for health and wellness.
