This role is designed for a remote work setting, allowing you to interact with clients primarily through telehealth services. You will not only engage with clients from the comfort of your home but also have opportunities to connect with them during community outreach efforts. As part of a passionate and diverse team, you will work in collaboration with other healthcare professionals, ensuring an integrated approach to patient care.

• Provide direct clinical services, including individual and group therapy for clients experiencing major mental health disorders and severe emotional distress.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that consider the unique circumstances and needs of each client, particularly those within the detox environment.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evidence-based screenings to identify client needs and create actionable care strategies.
• Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care, sharing insights and updates on client progress.
• Assist in crisis interventions and support clients during challenging moments using de-escalation techniques and compassionate communication.
• Monitor patient progress and facilitate referrals to additional support services as needed, ensuring a seamless continuum of care.
• Maintain detailed documentation including treatment notes and progress reports in compliance with ethical guidelines and organizational standards.
• Serve on internal committees focused on quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient satisfaction.

The clientele served at Thrive Wellbeing Therapy Centre mainly comprises individuals seeking detoxification and recovery from substance use disorders. Many clients face complex mental health issues exacerbated by their substance use, making it crucial for LCSWs to employ a trauma-informed approach. By working with such a diverse patient population, including those from varied cultural and socio-economic backgrounds, your role will directly contribute to their recovery journeys, promoting lasting change.

• Required: A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Must possess valid licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Required: At least 2 years of relevant experience working in mental health, particularly within substance use treatment or a similar setting.
• Strong understanding of mental health and substance use disorders, and skills in evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

While not mandatory, experience working in a detox center or a behavioral health facility is highly desirable. Familiarity with integrated care models and an ability to engage with interdisciplinary teams will be advantageous. Proficiency in both English and Spanish is a plus, given Miami's diverse community.

This full-time role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 85,000 annually.
