Unity Point Wellness & Counseling is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team as a Telehealth Specialist. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop personalized therapy strategies tailored to meet the specific needs of each client.
  • Plan and deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, focusing on a range of mental health challenges.
  • Employ diverse therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic approaches, and solution-focused brief therapy.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide a holistic approach to patient care, actively participating in team meetings and case consultations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring quality of care and accountability.
  • Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops, training sessions, and staying informed about advances in mental health research and practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including individuals and families facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance misuse, and relationship issues. You will provide support to clients in need of mental health care, fostering a safe space for open dialogue and healing.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience in a clinical context, demonstrating a solid foundation in therapeutic practices.
  • Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards related to mental health practice.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with a diverse clientele remotely.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) software and other telehealth-related technologies.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience working in a telehealth setting or familiarity with virtual counseling modalities is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented healthcare environment.
Compensation and Benefits

Unity Point Wellness & Counseling offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload capacity. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
