Unity Point Wellness & Counseling is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to understand each client's unique needs and develop tailored therapeutic strategies.
  • Provide individualized therapy sessions to clients, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions, offering psychoeducation and support to both individuals and families.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care is provided for each client, enhancing treatment outcomes across the board.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate clinical records while adhering to legal and ethical guidelines to ensure compliance and professionalism.
  • Actively engage in ongoing professional development through attendance at workshops and training to stay abreast of current trends and research in mental health.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our LPCs primarily work with a diverse range of individuals and families who face barriers to accessing traditional mental health services. This includes those dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and relational conflicts. Your role as an LPC will significantly impact the emotional well-being and resilience of our clients.

Qualifications
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania.
  • A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical or community health setting.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of legal and ethical standards governing counseling practices.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and other relevant technology.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialized expertise in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma recovery, or substance abuse counseling is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build rapport and trust with diverse client populations.
  • Experience working collaboratively within a healthcare team, enhancing integrated care for clients.
Compensation and Benefits
  • The annual salary range for this position is between USD 70,000 and 90,000, with caseload and salary determined based on experience and client availability.
