Job Summary Position Overview We are currently seeking qualified candidates for an immediate opening to join our team as a senior project manager . This full‐time position is anticipated to be remote, and home‐based work is anticipated as the primary workplace assuming the candidate meets the remote work requirements. The senior project manager is a trusted, client‐facing leader responsible for delivering complex technology consulting projects within the built environment.

This role serves as the primary point of accountability and owns project execution, proactively managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, change and stakeholder satisfaction. This role partners closely with clients and internal teams to lead critical stakeholder engagements and navigates ambiguity to drive informed decision‐making and successful outcomes. As a senior member of the PMO, the Senior Project Manager contributes to the refinement of project management practices, mentors peers, and helps position Waveguide's PMO as a differentiator in the technology consulting market.

This role is a remote position and up to 10% travel is anticipated. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Leadership Support the evolution of the PMO from an internal overhead function to a recognized strategic asset trusted by clients. Oversee and coordinate the work of internal resources and any sub‐consultants.

Drive team alignment, clarify responsibilities and maintain momentum toward project success. Support the development of project managers. Contribute to the Waveguide community in a way that promotes positive team culture, collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.

Project Delivery Excellence Maintain overall project and delivery strategies. Champion project objectives, success criteria and KPIs in collaboration with internal leadership and client stakeholders. Create and manage detailed project schedules that align technology deliverables with architectural packages, construction schedules and occupancy milestones.

Monitor project health and performance, intervening early as needed. Support and drive quality management practices. Support the change management process: identify, quantify and document changes in scope, schedule and fees for client and internal approval.

Proactively manage project constraints and trade‐offs, clearly articulating options and impacts to clients and internal stakeholders. Identify, analyze and manage project issues and risks, creating and maintaining issues logs and risk registers. Provide regular concise project status reporting.

Client and stakeholder management Serve as the primary point of contact for the client on assigned projects. Facilitate stakeholder identification and analysis for each project, planning and executing stakeholder engagement to align expectations and manage competing priorities. Coordinate, prepare for and lead select client meetings.

Manage and resolve issues and associated escalation points. Assist with client billing and project revenue forecasting. QUALIFICATIONS PMI certified Project Management Professional required.

Minimum 6 years of relevant professional experience managing professional AV/IT projects with AV budget ranges > $5 million. Demonstrated experience with leading project management efforts for multi‐year deployments, multiple concurrent projects with clients in a consulting or professional services environment with responsibility for scope, schedule, budget, quality and client satisfaction. Solid understanding of applying standard project management principles and practices.

Proven ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams. Strong client‐facing consulting skills: expectation management, negotiation, influencing and executive‐level communication. Strong conflict resolution, problem solving and decision‐making skills.

Ability to navigate ambiguity, manage change and drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups. Suitable remote work environment for audio and video calls. Strong understanding of commercial/institutional design and construction concepts, processes and workflow required including design phases (programming, SD and CD), procurement, construction and commissioning.

Direct experience managing commercial low‐voltage technology‐related projects in the built environment: corporate workplaces, campuses, headquarters or similar large commercial environments. Experience managing acoustics‐related scope is also preferred. Experience with international projects preferred.

Required Core Competencies Strong computer skills with proficiency in all MS Office applications. Strong computer skills with proficiency in project management tools, e.g. Project, Planner or equivalent, collaboration platforms, issue and risk logs, etc.

Advanced proficiency in Bluebeam, and relevant AI tools. Ability to perform basic mathematics in a business environment. Strong understanding of commercial/institutional technology applications and operations and their integration within building design and construction environments, including audio systems, video display technology, unified communications, digital signage, networked signal distribution, complex automation and control, and typical building systems such as HVAC, electrical, lighting, building controls, IT Networks, Wi‐Fi, structured cabling and security.

Commitment to relevant ongoing professional development and technical training. Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables and shift priorities as necessary. Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in written form.
