Job description

Pixel and Texel is looking for a Frontend-focused Developer to join our growing team! This role is approximately 80% frontend (React JS) and 20% backend (.NET) development. You will be responsible for creating, modifying, and updating software, working collaboratively with other developers, artists, and partners.
You'll be working on a suite of projects for the Oil and Gas industry, including an e-commerce website, a project tracker website, dashboards, and more.
This position is fully remote, US-only.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
Project Stack:
  • Frontend: React JS
  • Backend: .NET
  • Infrastructure: Terraform

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain web apps, dashboards, and similar software with a primary focus on frontend development in React JS
  • Contribute to backend development and maintenance in .NET (~20% of the role)
  • Work with other programmers, artists, and the support team
  • Analyze user needs and develop software solutions
  • Work with the project manager or product owner to meet the specification needs
  • Collaborate with other developers to design and optimize code
  • Document and track all programming tasks and procedures
  • Comfortable adopting and working with AI tools and systems as a core part of the development process - our client has an expectation of AI-integrated workflows going forward

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of professional software development experience
  • Must have experience with React JS
  • Must have experience with .NET and be proficient in C#
  • Familiarity with Terraform or infrastructure-as-code is a plus
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms, dashboards, or data visualization is a plus
  • Ability to work well in a team or independently
  • Strong communication skills
  • Quick learner and self-starter with the ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Adapts well to dynamic environments
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
