As a Piping/Plumbing Engineer II in our San Diego oce, you’ll collaborate with some of the brightest minds in engineering—where every idea is welcomed, and your contributions help advance science and improve lives. Why We Need You:

In this role, you will exercise independent judgment to develop and document system designs from concept plans and technical design criteria and interprets and utilizes information set forth in basis of design as well as information gathered from users, project partners, field surveys, and code research.

Expertise of our most successful Piping/Plumbing Engineer II:

  • BSAE or BSME strongly preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in designing piping/plumbing systems for healthcare, laboratory, industrial or institutional facilities.
  • EIT credential strongly encouraged. PE License preferred.
  • Expertise in computer operation for engineering design programs (i.e. Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks) preferred.
  • Knowledge of local and national codes and standards including the California Plumbing code (CPC), NFPA 99, and NFPA 55.
  • Strong working knowledge of construction collaboration software, with a strong preference for experience in Bluebeam.

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $85,000 to $140,000
