• Conduct comprehensive assessments of client needs, establishing personalized treatment goals and interventions based on the biopsychosocial model.
• Design and implement evidence-based therapeutic strategies tailored to support clients during detox and recovery stages, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, employing electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure quality and accessibility of care.
• Collaborate effectively with the treatment team, including physicians, nurses, and other specialists, to ensure holistic and integrated care for each client.
• Provide education and support to clients and their families, fostering a deeper understanding of the recovery process and available resources.
• Stay informed on the latest mental health research, integrating new findings into practice to continuously enhance client care.

This role primarily focuses on individuals undergoing detoxification from substance use, as well as those experiencing co-occurring mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and present with unique challenges that require a tailored and empathetic approach. As an LCSW in our center, you will play a crucial role in guiding clients through their recovery journeys, helping them build resilience and regain control over their lives.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LCSW license in the state of New York.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in mental health or substance use settings.
• Proficiency in solution-focused and trauma-informed care methodologies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with clients empathetically and effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities and critical thinking skills crucial for assessing client needs and treatment planning.
