On Point Physical Therapy is seeking an experienced and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will possess a valid LMFT, LPC, or LCSW license and have a minimum of two years of clinical experience providing psychotherapy to adults.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Mental Health Counselor at On Point, you will primarily work with adult clients facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment disorders. Qualifications
  • A master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from a regionally accredited institution.
  • Valid and active license in social work (LCSW), marriage and family therapy (LMFT), or professional counseling (LPC).
  • Demonstrated experience providing clinical psychotherapy to adults, with at least two years of experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability in applying evidence-based practices, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
  • Exceptional written communication skills for detailed documentation and reporting.
  • A pristine disciplinary record with no actions taken by a licensing board in any jurisdiction.
Preferred Experience
  • Additional training in specialized therapeutic modalities, such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or EMDR.
  • Experience in teletherapy or remote counseling settings, with proficiency in using digital platforms for client interaction.
