Remote Photo Inspection information

What are some common challenges faced in a remote photo inspection role and how can they be managed?

One common challenge in a Remote Photo Inspection role is ensuring the clarity and accuracy of images received from clients or field agents, as poor-quality photos can delay inspections and reporting. Effective communication skills are essential for instructing others on proper photo documentation and for following up when additional details are required. Additionally, remote inspectors must stay organized and adept at using digital platforms to manage case files and submit reports promptly. Collaborating efficiently with other team members, such as claims adjusters or field technicians, helps ensure that inspections are thorough and meet industry standards.

What is a remote photo inspection?

A remote photo inspection is a process where an inspector evaluates a property, vehicle, or asset by reviewing photographs submitted electronically, rather than conducting an in-person visit. This method allows inspectors to assess the condition, verify details, or confirm compliance using clear images provided by the owner, tenant, or a third party. Remote photo inspections are commonly used in insurance, real estate, and automotive industries for convenience and efficiency. This approach can save time, reduce costs, and minimize the need for scheduling on-site appointments.

Remote Photo Inspection focuses on analyzing images for insurance claims or property assessments remotely, often without visiting the site. Remote Property Inspectors typically hold licenses and may visit properties or review photos for real estate or insurance purposes. Both roles require attention to detail and industry-specific knowledge, but Remote Photo Inspection emphasizes photo analysis, while Remote Property Inspector involves more comprehensive property evaluations.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a remote photo inspector?

To thrive as a Remote Photo Inspector, you need keen attention to detail, a strong understanding of inspection standards, and often a background in insurance, real estate, or property assessment. Familiarity with digital cameras, photo editing software, mobile inspection apps, and sometimes certifications like those from the National Association of Home Inspectors are typical requirements. Excellent communication, time management, and the ability to work independently are crucial soft skills. These abilities ensure accurate, timely, and professional inspection reports, which support critical decision-making for clients and organizations.

Job description

Job Overview
Super Dispatch is looking for a driven, gritty, and strategic Account Executive (Carrier Solutions) with 4+ years of experience. In this role, you will drive revenue growth by selling our Carrier TMS, premium Super Loadboard access, and ecosystem tools to professional car-hauling businesses.
The ideal candidate has experience selling software and logistics financial tools directly to Commercial and Owner-Operators Car Hauling Fleets. You know how to talk to fleet dispatchers and trucking company owners, and you understand what it takes to keep a fleet running profitably.
About Super Dispatch
Super Dispatch is the leading end-to-end transport management platform built exclusively for the auto transport industry. For too long, vehicle shipping has been burdened by fragmentation, endless phone calls, and mountain loads of manual paperwork. We are changing that. By connecting shippers and carriers within a single, unified digital ecosystem, Super Dispatch eliminates operational friction and transforms how cars move.
What You'll Do
  • Drive Fleet Adoption: Seek and close new business within the regional and national carrier segments, focusing on car-hauling fleets ranging from 5 to 50+ trucks.
  • Value-Based Selling: Position Super Dispatch as the operational backbone of a carrier's business, helping them find higher-paying loads, eliminate paperwork, and get paid faster via SuperPay.
  • Perform Product Demos: Conduct fast-paced, highly practical demonstrations of our products like Carrier Desktop TMS and Mobile Driver App, focusing on real-world utility like digital Bills of Lading (BOL), photo documentation, and electronic signatures.
  • Objection Handling: Confidently navigate objections around software adoption, driver resistance to technology, and legacy habits.

What You'll Need
  • Experience: 4+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in trucking SaaS, fleet management tech, telematics, or digital freight brokerages.
  • Industry Expertise: Direct experience selling to carriers, trucking fleets, or transport business owners. Familiarity with the day-to-day realities of car haulers, fleet dispatchers, and owner-operators is a massive competitive advantage.
  • Skillset: High empathy for small-to-midsize business owners, excellent phone/video presence, a "hustle" mentality, and a track record of closing shorter-cycle, high-volume deals while chasing larger fleet accounts.
  • Persona Match: You know that carriers care about asset utilization (keeping trucks full), cutting out empty miles, avoiding damage claims via tight digital inspections, and immediate cash flow.

What We Offer
  • Great Culture - We strive for transparency and you'll work with like minded highly motivated people excited about solving complex problems
  • Great Insurance - We offer multiple health, dental & vision plans with a portion of the employee premiums paid by the company
  • Retirement - We provide both Stock Options and 401K with a company match
  • Remote First Culture - We're a 100% distributed team!
  • Wellness Stipend - We provide a monthly stipend for your health, wellbeing, and fitness needs ($50/mo)
  • Generous Time Off - Flex PTO policy so you can take the time you need, when you need it, as well as 6-12 weeks paid parental leave
  • Great Gear - we'll set you up for success with the latest tech
