Level: Junior | Work Location: Remote
This position is contingent upon contract award.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Red Carrot is seeking a Junior Graphic Designer to support a high-visibility federal communications contract. This role supports the customer's External Affairs office in developing compelling visual communications that advance the agency's mission.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist senior staff in the design and development of posters, exhibits, publications, photos, graphic designs, brochures, reports, and other outreach materials
  • Design and develop presentations, partner templates, kiosks, speeches, and fact sheets
  • Create static and digital graphics, animations, icons, and other illustration and multimedia material optimized for web and print
  • Create or refresh templates for standard products such as fact sheets, brochures, flyers, and reports
  • Coordinate the production process of all printed and interactive pieces
  • Ensure all graphics and products created are 508 compliant
  • Support customer brand consistency across all deliverables
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • BA in Art, Graphic Design, Information Technology, Media, Studio Arts, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of demonstrated experience in graphic design
  • Demonstrated experience assisting senior staff members in design and development of posters, exhibits, publications, photos, graphic designs, brochures, reports, and other outreach materials
  • Demonstrated experience designing and developing presentations, partner templates, kiosks, speeches, and fact sheets
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating the production process of all printed and interactive pieces
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Ability to obtain the required government Fitness Determination
