This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in scheduling while ensuring a work-life balance. As a provider at Infinite Ties Wellness, you will operate within a supportive outpatient counseling center that prioritizes collaboration amongst professionals. Counselors here engage with clients on an appointment basis, focusing on personalized care tailored to their individual needs.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to identify clients’ specific mental health needs and develop appropriate, individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions utilizing modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers to provide integrated and holistic care.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical records in compliance with ethical standards and legal framework, ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of client information.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, attending relevant workshops, and remaining informed about current research and best practices in the mental health field.

Your role will involve working with a diverse clientele, including individuals dealing with various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse. You will also have the opportunity to support couples and families, guiding them through relational challenges. Your effectiveness in establishing rapport with clients from various backgrounds will be critical to fostering a trusting therapeutic alliance.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active, unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Virginia.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience providing counseling services in a clinical setting.
• Strong understanding of ethical guidelines and regulatory standards governing counseling practice.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated competency in building therapeutic relationships.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and relevant software.

• Specialization in concentrated areas such as trauma, substance abuse treatment, family therapy, or couples counseling is highly desirable.
• Experience working collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams, enhancing overall patient care through integrated approaches.
