• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health, utilizing preliminary interviews to gather relevant information.
• Evaluate and document client cases from initial consultation through the entire treatment journey, ensuring comprehensive records are maintained.
• Develop tailored intervention and recovery plans for diverse client populations, including individuals, couples, families, and groups.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, using evidence-based practices to guide discussions and interventions.
• Monitor client progress and therapeutic outcomes, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as required.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals—including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers—to devise cohesive intervention strategies.
• Regularly follow up with clients who may require hospitalization, ensuring their transitions are smooth and supported.
• Actively assist family members and primary caregivers in understanding and managing mental health challenges faced by their loved ones.

Your clients will vary widely, encompassing individuals coping with stress, anxiety, depression, addiction, and other mental health issues. This role demands a compassionate approach to handling diverse backgrounds and experiences. Your ability to foster trust and open communication will play a critical role in client recovery and engagement.

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid and current license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon.
• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Exam (NCMHCE).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively document and convey client information.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a genuine ability to empathize and connect with clients.

• Previous experience working in a mental health counseling capacity, particularly in a telehealth setting.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems, such as AVATAR, to maintain accurate client documentation.
• Experience in addressing complex emotional and behavioral health conditions, including addiction disorders.
• A firm familiarity with the best practices established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical impacts as prescribed by medical specialists.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
