Job Title:Certified Medical Assistant

Location: Remote within the State of Wisconsin

Working Model: Remote

Schedule: 8am-5pm Monday to Friday

As aCertified Medical Assistant at Sagent Behavioral Health, you will play an important role in providing high-quality patient care to our Psychiatry patients. You will work alongside our Psychiatry providers, returning phone calls to patients regarding the side effects of medication; refilling medication to area pharmacies; calling insurance companies for verification on medications, and completing necessary authorizations for medications. There is little to no physical contact with patients in this role as such there are no weekends, evenings, holidays, or on-call hours!

Responsibilities:

  • Triaging calls from patients.
  • Taking calls for lab results.
  • Triages incoming lab results, medical reports, refill requests, etc. to MD/APRN/PAs in a timely fashion.
  • Maintains legible and organized patient records.

Requirements:

  • Certificate in Medical Assisting in State of Wisconsin.
  • Comfortable with little to no physical patient contact on a day-to-day basis.
  • Experience with mental health care preferred, Knowledgeable about psychotropic medications.
  • Computer and tech-savvy; experience with Electronic Medical Records.

Compensation:

This is a non-exempt position. Total earnings for this position will range from $21.00 - $24.00 hourly.

*Actual compensation may be determined by various factors such as licensure, experience, skillset, internal equity, schedule and/or location. Estimates are factored on a 1.0 FTE.

* Employees in these positions are W2.
