In this role, you'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, support coordinated care, and help patients access thoughtful, effective treatment, including medication-assisted treatment for substance use disorders.
For candidates working in-person, there may also be opportunities to participate as part of an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team, providing collaborative, community-based support to individuals with significant mental health needs.
This position is based in-person in Marshalltown, Iowa, though virtual opportunities may be considered for the right candidate. Candidates must be licensed to practice in the state of Iowa.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Assist in the development and delivery of ARNP services at Prairie Ridge Integrated Behavioral Healthcare.
  2. Perform psychiatric care duties to include; history and physical, order and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic tests, prescribe appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities, implement interventions, monitor effectiveness of interventions.
  3. Engage in activities necessary for effective documentation, coding, authorization, and billing of services, in compliance with generally accepted medical standards.
  4. Collaborate and coordinate care with Prairie Ridge team in an effort to develop appropriate behavioral health plans for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  5. Understand and utilize Medication Assisted Therapies in the treatment of substance use disorders.
  6. Participate in research as requested.
  7. Monitor and initiate processes which promote cost effective and efficient delivery of care.
  8. Advise and assist in the coordination of staff wellness activities.
  9. Demonstrate understanding and adherence to all CARF, HIPPA, and 42 CFR, part 2 policies and procedures.
  10. Participate in activities identified as necessary for the development and implementation of coordinated care at Prairie Ridge.
  11. Other duties as defined by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Current Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Iowa.
  2. Ability to prescribe in the state of Iowa.
  3. Supportive of the mission of Prairie Ridge and the patients we serve.
  4. Proficiency in oral and written communication skills, as well as documentation requirements.
  5. Technology skills allowing for proficiency in use of electronic health record.
