JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the development and delivery of ARNP services at Prairie Ridge Integrated Behavioral Healthcare.
- Perform psychiatric care duties to include; history and physical, order and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic tests, prescribe appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities, implement interventions, monitor effectiveness of interventions.
- Engage in activities necessary for effective documentation, coding, authorization, and billing of services, in compliance with generally accepted medical standards.
- Collaborate and coordinate care with Prairie Ridge team in an effort to develop appropriate behavioral health plans for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Understand and utilize Medication Assisted Therapies in the treatment of substance use disorders.
- Participate in research as requested.
- Monitor and initiate processes which promote cost effective and efficient delivery of care.
- Advise and assist in the coordination of staff wellness activities.
- Demonstrate understanding and adherence to all CARF, HIPPA, and 42 CFR, part 2 policies and procedures.
- Participate in activities identified as necessary for the development and implementation of coordinated care at Prairie Ridge.
- Other duties as defined by supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Current Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Iowa.
- Ability to prescribe in the state of Iowa.

- Proficiency in oral and written communication skills, as well as documentation requirements.
- Technology skills allowing for proficiency in use of electronic health record.
