  • Team-first mindset - collaborative, communicative, and willing to jump in where needed
  • Organized and proactive in a fast-paced environment, with a sharp eye for detail
  • Client Communication: Provide professional, empathetic communication to clients regarding lab results and interpretation, medication approval status, and next steps when additional care, diagnostics, or appointments are needed

  • Identify cases that require DVM involvement and appropriately reassign tasks when needed.

2. Medication Requests & Pharmacy Coordination
  • Evaluate medication refill and new medication requests for appropriateness and approval based on medical records and DVM guidance.
  • Communicate with DVMs when clarification or approval is needed.
  • Call in prescriptions to external pharmacies, including human pharmacies and online vendors.
  • Create and close medication encounters when appropriate.
  • Coordinate with in-clinic teams for medications being filled in clinic.

The Perks of the Pack
  • $23-$26/hour, plus 1.5x pay on Sploot-recognized holidays
