Job description

Position Summary
The Pharmaceuticals & Life Sciences Business Manager, North America provides industry, technical, and commercial leadership to accelerate Seeq's growth across the pharmaceutical and life sciences market, with primary responsibility for North America.
This is a highly customer-facing role responsible for driving measurable industry growth outcomes across the region, including ownership of a North American Life Sciences revenue target. Working in close partnership with Account Executives and regional Sales leadership, the role combines strong commercial accountability with authentic pharmaceutical credibility to advance complex, high-value opportunities. The role partners with Sales, Customer Success, Analytics Engineer, Solution Consultants, Marketing, Product, and ecosystem partners to:
  • Accelerate new business development and drive expansion within existing strategic customer accounts
  • Execute the global Pharma & Life Sciences go-to-market strategy within North America as an active member of the Pharma Team
  • Own North American market intelligence and target identification
  • Define, articulate, and quantify customer value realization across Seeq solutions and integrated "whole offers"
  • Act as a strategic thought partner within Seeq, elevating industry depth and strengthening Pharma culture across the organization

Key Responsibilities
The essential functions include but are not limited to the following:
Industry Growth & Revenue Ownership
  • Drive pipeline creation, progression, and expansion within the Pharma & Life Sciences segment in coordination with the Sales and Account Teams.
  • Partner closely with Account Executives, to co-develop account strategies, advance opportunities, and support complex enterprise sales cycles.
  • Engage executive stakeholders across Manufacturing, MSAT, Quality, and Digital organizations to align Seeq solutions with strategic corporate initiatives.
  • Develop outcome-focused value narratives aligned to priorities such as product quality risk management, operational efficiency, tech transfer, drug filing and quality reporting

Global Pharma GTM Contribution
  • Act as an active stakeholder within the global Pharma Team, validating strategy through field execution and customer outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Industry leadership, Product Marketing, and Sales to operationalize GTM strategy into executable programs and sales enablement.
  • Provide continuous field feedback to refine offers, messaging, and industry solutions.

Demand Generation & Industry Engagement
  • Support Account-Based Experience (ABX) initiatives by shaping industry messaging, generating content and helping generate qualified pipeline.
  • Represent Seeq at conferences, webinars, and partner engagements as an industry subject matter expert.

Requirements
Experience:
  • Strong understanding of pharma manufacturing and its regulatory environment; familiarity with SaaS/cloud software validation and utilization in GMP highly desirable.
  • 7+ years of pharma or biopharma experience in Technical Operations, MSAT, manufacturing science, IT/OT, digital manufacturing, analytics, or comparable experience supporting life sciences customers within software or services organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage key stakeholders in both technical and commercial discussions and influence complex enterprise opportunities/projects.
  • Ability to collaborate across matrixed global teams including Sales, Marketing, Product, QA/Regulatory, and partners.

Preferred Experience:
  • Advanced degree preferred in pharmaceutical sciences, chemical/bioprocess engineering, data science, or related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Direct experience with digital transformation projects in a life sciences organization, or application of advanced data analytics in pharma manufacturing (e.g., predictive modelling, CPV, PAT, OEE, investigations, or tech transfer).
  • Familiarity with industrial data ecosystems including historians, MES, LIMS, ELN, DCS/SCADA, and cloud platforms would be a plus.
