Are you looking to join one of the fast growing law firms in America? We are HIRING a 100% Remote Personal Injury Case Manager!
We are seeking a full-time Case Manager with personal injury, with a minimum of 4-5 years of pre-litigation and litigation experience who can handle the following duties:
Client Interaction:
Make introductory calls to new clients and complete case summaries.
Complete intake/review if the intake department has not completed it yet.
Conduct "2-Week follow-up calls" to check in with clients every two weeks, follow up on their treatment status, and ensure they are attending their doctors' visits to prevent gaps in care.
Speak with clients and ensure high satisfaction and responsiveness.
Document and Claims Management:
Obtain original copies of Police Reports (PR).
Set up claims, including Health Insurance (HI).
Send out Letters of Representation (LORs).
Ensure we have clients' Driver's License, Health Insurance Cards, Pictures of Property Damage, and Injuries.
Follow up on Declaration Pages from all insurance companies involved and add them to Filevine (FV).
Follow up with any potential Medical Payments coverage (Medpay) and ensure checks are sent to us directly, not the medical providers.
Collect Bills and Records and obtain balances for all medical providers.
Request the Final Lien Amount from the Health Insurance provider (if applicable).
Case Management:
Set up treatment with providers.
Keep Filevine updated on the case statuses.
Keep your Paralegal updated with any issues with clients and maintain constant communication.
Put notes in every file you are working on (no exceptions).
Ensure Drop Box and Filevine folders are set up properly.
Legal and Administrative Support:
Manage medical treatment.
Draft Letters of Representation (LOR), complete intakes, file claims, and connect clients with medical providers.
Complete personal injury files from intake to disbursements.
Compile medical records/bills, negotiate with providers, and prepare demands.
Draft Letters of Protection (LOP), communicate case details with paralegal/attorney, handle disbursements/checks.
Forward and arrange calls, emails, faxes, and all correspondence.
OUR REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must have personal injury pre-litigation experience. (4-5 years)

  • Forwarding Complaints to process servers and monitoring service of process
  • Drafting Discovery Responses
  • Calendaring and Noticing Depositions and Leaves of Absence
  • Drafting and Filing Standard Motions and Motion Responses
  • Calendaring litigation timelines
  • Conducting status update calls with clients
  • Client update calls
  • Sending out and following up on non-party discovery requests
  • Assist in trial preparation.
