• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for each client, taking into account their unique circumstances and challenges.
• Conduct thorough assessments and intake interviews to gather essential background information and establish therapeutic goals.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for clients.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records, in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through trainings and workshops to stay updated on the latest mental health research and practices.

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals facing short-term stressors such as workplace conflicts, anxiety, and relationship issues, as well as those dealing with more complex challenges related to psychiatric disorders and substance abuse. • A Master's Degree in Professional Counseling or a closely related field is required.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Connecticut.
• The ability to meet the credentialing requirements for clinical settings within our organization.
• A minimum of one year of professional experience working with psychiatric patients and/or individuals dealing with substance use disorders.
• Experience in conducting assessments, making diagnoses, and providing both individual and group therapy.
• Proficient computer skills, with a strong command of digital documentation and teletherapy platforms.

• Previous experience in a community health setting may be advantageous.
• Familiarity with telehealth technologies and online therapeutic tools is preferred.
