Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual counseling sessions via video chat to assist clients in addressing mental health concerns.
• Facilitate open discussions about emotions and experiences to help clients gain insights into their behaviors and relationships.
• Advocate for clients by assisting them in defining their therapeutic goals and establishing actionable steps towards achieving them.
• Evaluate clients' mental health status, develop evidence-based treatment plans, and implement interventions tailored to their needs.
• Document therapy sessions succinctly while minimizing paperwork through our efficient technology platform.
• Maintain a consistent caseload through our client referral system, ensuring that your schedule remains full based on your availability.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients consist of carefully screened adults who present with low acuity mental health issues. This means you will be working with stable individuals seeking guidance and support rather than those facing severe mental health crises. We prioritize matching you with clients that align with your clinical specialties and demographic preferences, ensuring a positive therapeutic relationship.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Valid, unrestricted license to practice independently in New Jersey as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Proficient interpersonal skills with a strong empathetic disposition towards clients.
• Technical proficiency with a computer and familiarity with telehealth platforms.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a counseling or therapeutic setting.
• Experience working in remote or telehealth environments is a plus.
• Background in addressing a wide range of mental health issues related to adults is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 9,000 to $10,400 annually, depending on your level of experience and hours worked. We offer a generous sign-on bonus, along with a healthcare stipend for full-time counselors. Other benefits include:
