What is remote performance coaching?

Remote performance coaching is a process where a coach helps individuals or teams improve their work performance, skills, and productivity using virtual communication tools like video calls, phone, or messaging platforms. The coach provides feedback, sets goals, and supports personal and professional development from a distance, making it convenient for clients who may be located anywhere. This approach is popular because it offers flexibility, access to a wider range of coaches, and the ability to fit sessions into busy schedules.

How do remote performance coaches build rapport and trust with clients when working virtually?

Building rapport and trust as a remote performance coach involves frequent, open communication and the use of technology to create a personal connection. Coaches often utilize video calls, interactive digital tools, and regular check-ins to foster engagement and active participation. Establishing clear goals, maintaining confidentiality, and showing genuine interest in clients' progress are essential practices. Many successful coaches also personalize their approach to suit each client's unique needs, which helps create a supportive and motivating virtual environment.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a remote performance coach?

To thrive as a Remote Performance Coach, you need expertise in coaching methodologies, goal-setting strategies, and a background in psychology or human performance, often supported by coaching certifications such as ICF or similar credentials. Familiarity with virtual meeting platforms, digital assessment tools, and coaching management software is typically required. Exceptional listening, motivational, and communication skills help build trust and engagement with clients remotely. These abilities ensure effective client progress, strong relationships, and impactful coaching outcomes across virtual environments.

Job description

Remote Sales Representative - Leadership Development

Remote | Performance-Based Compensation | Training Provided

Are you ambitious, coachable, and looking for a career where your growth is based on your performance-not your tenure?

Fisher Organization is expanding and looking for motivated individuals to join our remote sales team. This opportunity is designed for people who want to develop strong sales skills, work directly with families, and have the opportunity to advance into leadership.

No previous insurance experience is required. We provide training, mentorship, and a structured development process.

What You'll Do
  • Meet virtually with individuals and families to understand their needs
  • Present benefit and life insurance solutions
  • Follow a proven sales and client-service process
  • Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and team development
  • Build strong communication, sales, and leadership skills
  • Work toward leadership opportunities based on performance
Who We're Looking For

You may be a great fit if you are:

  • Ambitious and motivated by results
  • Coachable and willing to learn
  • Confident communicating with people
  • Self-disciplined and comfortable working remotely
  • Competitive while also being team-oriented
  • Looking for growth rather than simply another job
  • Able to maintain a consistent work schedule and activity level

Sales, customer service, hospitality, recruiting, athletics, or leadership experience can be helpful, but is not required.

What We Offer
  • 100% remote work environment
  • Comprehensive training and ongoing mentorship
  • Performance-based compensation with growth potential
  • Leadership development and advancement opportunities
  • Supportive, high-energy team culture
  • Recognition and incentive opportunities
  • Flexible career growth based on individual performance
Important to Know

This is a sales position with performance-based compensation, not a salaried position.

Because we work in the life insurance industry, candidates selected to move forward must obtain the appropriate state insurance license. Guidance and support are provided throughout the licensing process.

We are looking for individuals who are serious about building a career, willing to be coached, and prepared to put consistent effort into their development.

If you're ready to challenge yourself, develop valuable sales and leadership skills, and build a career where your performance can create your next opportunity, apply today.
