Job description

Where Performance Meets Purpose

Join a team that values excellence and innovation, at a company known for its iconic golf brands. At Acushnet Company, your background and experience contribute to creating the best products for dedicated golfers worldwide. Here, your performance has purpose.

What You Will Be Doing

The UX/UI Designer will serve as the primary designer for the Titleist Performance mobile experience, focusing on solving complex user problems through functional, intuitive, and mobilefirst design. This role partners closely with product, engineering, and brand leaders to identify user challenges, explore multiple design solutions, and iteratively refine experiences that balance performance, usability, and brand alignment. Working in a fastmoving, agile environment, the designer will lead endtoend experience design-from discovery and concepting through wireframes, prototypes, and developer handoff-with a strong bias toward function over form. This is not about creating static art pieces, but about designing purposeful, scalable experiences that help users navigate complex performance and fitness workflows on small screens.

Success in this role requires adaptability, strong communication skills, and the ability to translate technical or biomechanical concepts into clear, humancentered digital experiences

What You Bring

Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Visual or Graphic Design, Digital Marketing, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience

  • 5+ years of UX design experience, with a strong emphasis on mobilefirst product design; experience designing fitness, sports, performancedriven, or highengagement consumer applications is highly preferred

  • Proven ability to design effective, intuitive user experiences across mobile, web, and tablet platforms, with particular strength in smallscreen, taskoriented workflows

  • Demonstrated experience working in agile, iterative environments, where designs evolve based on continuous user feedback, testing, and business requirements

  • Strong problemsolving skills, with the ability to identify user needs, explore multiple solution paths, and clearly articulate design tradeoffs

  • Deep understanding of user research methodologies and consumer behavior analytics, using both qualitative and quantitative insights to inform and refine design decisions

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience working closely within small, crossfunctional product teams

  • Comfortable presenting design vision, rationale, and outcomes to stakeholders at all levels, including product, engineering, and leadership

  • Open and responsive to feedback, with a demonstrated ability to iterate quickly and adapt designs based on consumer insights and testing results

  • Systemsoriented thinker who considers scalability, consistency, and longterm product evolution when making design decisions

Specialized Knowledge & Skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma, including components, variants, autolayout, variables, design tokens, and scalable design systems; strong focus on functional prototyping and usability

  • Experience designing performanceoriented or technical interfaces that prioritize clarity, usability, and speed over decorative visuals

  • Proven ability to guide users through complex or multistep experiences with simplicity and precision, particularly in highengagement or repeatuse scenarios

  • Strong collaboration with developers throughout the full design lifecycle, including requirements definition, understanding technical constraints, file handoff, implementation support, and UAT

  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus

  • Handson experience conducting user testing, usability studies, and design research, translating insights into actionable improvements

  • Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and A/B testing methodologies is a plus

  • Passion for or knowledge of golf, fitness, wellness, or performancebased products is a strong plus
