Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team at Alp Counseling Center. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health concerns, establishing tailored treatment plans that reflect each individual's unique circumstances.
  • Provide individual therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), adapting them as necessary to meet clients' specific needs.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to establish therapeutic goals and assess progress, employing motivational interviewing techniques and regularly revising treatment strategies based on client feedback.
  • Facilitate teletherapy sessions to clients who opt for virtual meetings or face accessibility challenges, ensuring they feel comfortable and supported remotely.
  • Maintain meticulous and timely documentation in our electronic health record (EHR) system, adhering to ethical guidelines and regulatory standards to protect client confidentiality.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through training in our proprietary care pathways and other emerging practices to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role will primarily serve adolescents and young adults facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Your compassionate approach will play a vital role in helping these individuals navigate their mental health journeys, empowering them to achieve improved well-being and resilience.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is required.
  • Must possess active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
  • Proficiency in utilizing technology in therapeutic settings, including navigating Google Suite and EHR platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to ensure clear and compassionate interactions with clients.
  • Professional presentation and ethical conduct are expected at all times to foster a trusting therapeutic environment.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions in a clinical setting.
  • Experience delivering telehealth therapy to a diverse client population, particularly adolescents and young adults.
  • A willingness to participate in training for our evidence-based treatment frameworks, enhancing the care pathways offered at Alp Counseling Center.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously while maintaining client confidentiality in a home office environment with reliable internet access.
Compensation and Benefits
