Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of students’ emotional and social needs to develop individualized treatment plans that align with educational goals.

• Maintain accurate, confidential records in accordance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring all documentation reflects the quality of care provided.
• Engage in regular collaboration with a dedicated multidisciplinary treatment team, which includes teachers, school counselors, and mental health professionals.
• Stay abreast of the latest research, trends, and best practices in social work and school counseling to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with students from diverse backgrounds, addressing various psychological issues that might impact their academic performance and personal development. Our clients include elementary through high school-aged students facing challenges related to their emotional and psychological health.

Qualifications

• A valid Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
• An active LCSW license in the state of New York.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with children and adolescents, fostering trust and rapport.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt interventions based on individual client needs.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a school or educational setting is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

• Attractive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
