Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive client evaluations to assess mental health needs, ensuring tailored treatment plans are devised.
• Facilitate therapeutic sessions via virtual platforms for individuals, couples, and families, employing various evidence-based methodologies.
• Collaborate with clients to develop realistic, achievable goals, encouraging progress and self-efficacy throughout the therapeutic process.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records, ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines and state regulations.
• Engage in professional development through ongoing training and workshops, staying abreast of the latest therapeutic techniques and methods.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families from various cultural backgrounds. This role necessitates a nuanced understanding of the unique challenges faced by different demographics, fostering an environment of respect, empathy, and support.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Current and active LCMHC license in the state of Vermont.
• Demonstrated experience providing therapy across diverse communities, employing culturally competent practices.
• Proficient in established therapeutic approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or other evidence-based interventions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to connect with clients and colleagues alike.
• Adept in working independently while contributing positively to team dynamics.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a clinical setting, providing direct patient care.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure effective documentation and client management.
• Experience in crisis intervention and management, enhancing your ability to support clients in acute situations.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 90,000 annually, reflective of your experience and qualifications. Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
