UW Medical Center-Montlake - Urology Clinic has an outstanding opportunity for a Registered Nurse.
WORK SCHEDULE
  • Full time / 40 hours per week
  • 5x8 shift schedule
  • Must be available to work Monday-Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm
  • Our clinic is closed on weekends and holidays

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
The Urology Clinic at UW Medical Center-Montlake diagnoses and treats patients with urologic cancer and general urology conditions. The clinic hosts the Bladder Cancer Multispecialty Clinic and the Prostate Cancer Multispecialty Clinic. UW Medical Center-Montlake Urology was recently recognized as a UW Medicine Patient Experience Top Performer for Medical Practice.
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
  • Join an acclaimed outpatient setting
  • Provide life-changing care for urologic oncology patients
  • Work a mix of bedside care and back-office care

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide care for patients with prostate, bladder, and other urologic cancers
  • Perform catheter changes, specimen collection, and intravesical treatments in a clinic setting
  • Perform port and PICC lining blood draws and care
  • Assist our providers during minimally invasive procedures, including intravesical chemotherapy installations
  • Conduct Epic InBasket triage and telephone triage

REQUIREMENTS
  • 2 years of recent oncology, urology, medical-surgical, or ambulatory nursing experience
  • BLS
  • Active licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in Washington State
