Description

Position Summary:

Performs various electrical design layout functions related to circuit boards such as single board computers and passive backplanes as well as other duties as assigned. Employee will strive to satisfy the needs of customers with on time delivery and continuous improvement in quality, products and services and manage risk.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Create design output documentation (i.e. artwork gerbers, insertion files, etc.) as necessary and review for completeness
  • Support Trenton's manufacturing resources as required, providing support on technical issues
  • Provide support to vendors with technical issues
  • Participate in design reviews if needed
  • Support Engineering Manager as necessary with special projects
  • Attempt to identify improvements in efficiency in processes and improvements in products and services and provide input to continuous improvement team
  • This position is permitted to work offsite with prior manager approval
  • Identify and manage risk in products, processes, and environment
  • This is a remote position
