Job description

The Payroll Specialist (Remote) plays a crucial role within both the HR and Finance teams, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance with legal and company policies. This role involves managing payroll data, auditing payroll records, liaising with employees on payroll inquiries, and filing tax documents. The specialist balances the use of automated systems and manual processes to maintain payroll integrity and supports ongoing improvements through the incorporation of new payroll technologies. Occasional travel may be required for training and meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Process payroll accurately and on schedule using automated systems and manual methods
  • Enter payroll data and update systems to ensure current employee information
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory and company payroll policies
  • Keep detailed payroll records and documentation organized
  • Generate payroll reports and conduct regular auditing to verify payroll accuracy
  • Serve as the primary liaison for employee payroll questions and concerns
  • Manage tax filing and related compliance documentation
