Your future role at a glance

Location: Remote

Department: Billing Under Arrangement

Schedule: Day shift | Full-time 

Salary: $99,863.85 - $135,109.91 per year

How you'll make an impact in this role
  • Drive operational excellence and revenue retention across all AMG physician practices, serving as the subject matter expert on professional billing workflows.
  • Provide daily leadership, strategic hiring, tailored onboarding, and ongoing mentorship to build a high-performing revenue cycle team.
  • Analyze key performance metrics-including cash collections, unbilled accounts, denial trends, days in AR, and contract yields-to benchmark practice health and guide leadership strategy.
  • Lead revenue valuation reviews and audit oversight for physician services, crafting actionable financial insights for AMG senior executive leadership.
  • Manage departmental fiscal budgets while leading strategic technology and practice integrations on time and within scope.
What minimum qualifications you'll need

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
What additional requirements you'll need
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive revenue cycle experience focused specifically on ambulatory or physician-practice (Pro-Fee) operations in addition to 3 years in a leadership/management within a healthcare billing environment.
  • AthenaNet practice management system experience is strongly preferred.
