West Valley Psychotherapy Center is actively seeking qualified and compassionate mental health therapists to fill full-time positions in our remote telehealth setting. Our ideal candidates are licensed professionals who possess the skills to provide therapeutic support for individuals battling a variety of mental health conditions, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse. In this role, you will be instrumental in offering personalized treatment plans and implementing evidence-based interventions that enhance our patients' quality of life.

Work Environment

This role offers the flexibility of a fully remote work setting, allowing you to conduct sessions from the comfort of your chosen environment. Scheduled work hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a degree of flexibility as required to meet patient scheduling needs. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, ensuring a thorough understanding of each patient’s unique needs and personal circumstances.
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that integrate evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy techniques.
  • Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups that empower individuals and families to manage mental health challenges while fostering a sense of community.
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care that addresses all aspects of a patient’s wellbeing.
  • Provide crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies to stabilize and support individuals in need.
  • Educate patients on mental health conditions and available resources, ensuring they are informed advocates for their own care.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
  • Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to foster a culture of learning and improvement.
  • Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in mental health therapy to continually enhance treatment effectiveness.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a therapist at West Valley Psychotherapy Center, you will serve a diverse patient population, including children, adolescents, and adults confronting a variety of mental health challenges. Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Illinois.
  • Strong knowledge of mental health disorders, therapeutic techniques, and ethical practices within the field.

  • Demonstrated experience delivering various therapeutic modalities through both individual and group therapy.

Compensation and Benefits
