As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Anderson Behavioral Health, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments through virtual interviews, client observations, and the review of medical records to identify emotional, social, and environmental factors that impact recovery.
• Providing individual and family counseling, tailored to address adjustment issues and emotional resilience to help patients navigate their treatment journey.
• Collaborating with our multidisciplinary rehab team to craft individualized treatment plans, integrating psychosocial evaluation findings with physical and occupational therapy goals.
• Facilitating access to community resources for patients, including support groups, vocational rehabilitation services, and housing assistance to foster a smooth transition post-rehabilitation.
• Educating patients and their families on available community resources and aftercare services to ensure ongoing support beyond our facility.
• Participating actively in discharge planning and coordinating transitions for patients returning home or to alternative care environments.

You will primarily work with individuals battling substance use disorders, who often face significant emotional and psychological challenges during their recovery process. Our client population is diverse, encompassing various backgrounds and experiences, and your role will be essential in navigating the unique challenges they may face. The work you do directly impacts their emotional and social well-being, contributing positively to their recovery outcomes and community reintegration.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Strong analytical skills with a proficiency in conducting assessments and formulating treatment plans.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an emphasis on building rapport and engagement with clients.

• Prior experience in a rehabilitation or medical setting is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated understanding of grief, coping mechanisms, and adjustment issues specific to recovery.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and systems to enhance remote patient interactions.
