As a Licensed Professional Counselor at the Center for Families Wellness Center, your key responsibilities will include:

• Facilitating Group Therapy: Lead engaging group therapy sessions that foster a sense of community, allowing clients to share experiences, offer support, and build resilience together.
• Providing Individual Therapy: Deliver personalized counseling sessions where you will empathetically explore clients’ thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. You will collaborate with clients to develop actionable coping strategies tailored to their unique challenges.
• Crafting Treatment Plans: Work closely with clients to create individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans that align with their specific needs, preferences, and aspirations.
• Monitoring Client Progress: Utilize various assessment tools and feedback methods to track client progress and outcomes effectively, providing necessary adjustments to treatment as required.

Your work will specifically focus on young adults aged 18 to 30, who are entering our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). Many of these clients are navigating a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and interpersonal issues. Your role will be pivotal in fostering an environment of healing and support, enabling clients to develop the skills needed for sustainable recovery.

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess the following education and credentials:

• Valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of New Jersey.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field (such as Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling).
• Strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic practices and treatment modalities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Ideal candidates will have prior experience working with young adults in a clinical or community health setting. Familiarity with group therapy facilitation and treatment planning is highly beneficial. Experience with digital health technologies or teletherapy may be a plus, given the remote nature of this position.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to a generous compensation package, we offer a comprehensive suite of benefits, including:
